What an amazing weekend of 8 Ball.
Firstly thank you to all of the CT Clubs that travelled from around the country to represent your clubs in the 48th CT National 8 Ball Championships. Amazing to see familiar faces and meet new members within the CT family.
A huge thank you to our Club president Mik Karam, our tournament controllers Riti Kahu and Thea Van-Kempen, our staff and Club Manager for a fantastic weekend.
A big shout out to Brodie FitzGeorge and Lukas Thomas from BnL for the Live Streaming which im sure a lot of people enjoyed over the weekend.
Huge thanks Healey for getting the tables sorted.
I will post up a few photos in the next couple of days of results over the weekend but for now overall winner of the singles and a new record for the CT singles is
CAMILIA COOK, the first female in the history of the singles to take this tournament win, and of course Mia also won the prize of furtherest female. Amazing effort!!
Winners of the CT Pairs Championships is Healey White and Camilia Cook. HEALEY & MIA were all business in the final and an amazing display of skills. Back to back for Mia winning the singles and Pairs.
The streams are available on You Tube on the BnL page
Again thank you to all involved, massive thanks to Samara and City Club 2000 members, Tony from Rotorua, Erin from Bay City for your help over the weeks leading up to this event. Mik and Cody for the work on the tables early every Morning before play.
This years Championships are now at an end, safe travels to everyone and we will see you all at City Clubs 2000 in Palmerston North next year.
