Parents and caregivers play a huge role in making community sport possible. If your child enjoys athletics at Fairfield, consider giving a little back by becoming an official. This course is suitable for anyone wanting to learn more about the sport, support athletes, and help create a safe, positive environment. Quite simply, athletics doesn't run itself. It relies on volunteers stepping forward to help make competitions and events happen for all our young athletes. See further details below!
Get closer to the action and help athletes perform at their best.
Our Level 1 Officials Course is a practical first step into athletics officiating. Learn the events, stadium procedures, safety and safeguarding, and how to support athletes in a positive, collaborative environment.
15 September, 6.30pm

Officiating is flexible, rewarding, and a meaningful way to give back to the sport. Young people are especially encouraged to get involved.
