Don’t create an invisible threshold in your mind that your team must meet in order to receive praise.

It is recommended that leaders provide 75% positive feedback, 25% corrective feedback. Yet most of our team receive no feedback, and if they do, it is only when they have stuffed something up.

Keep an eye out for all the good mahi going on around you and tell your team when you notice.

One of the biggest frustrations at work is not knowing what's expected of you, yet many leaders avoid being explicit because they're worried they'll come across as controlling or micromanaging.

The opposite is often true.

Clarity creates confidence.

People perform better when they know what good looks like. If you asked your team today: "how clear are you on what's expected of you?", what would they say?
