🏆 WESTS U16 & U18 PRIZEGIVING 🏆

Wests Prizegiving for our Under 16 and Under 18 teams will be held this Friday, 11th September, at 6.00pm at the Wests Clubrooms.

🎉 Prizegiving will be followed by a supper for the teams.

It would be great to see a big turnout as we celebrate the season and recognise the efforts and achievements of our players.

🏉 JAB PLAYERS ON THE HEARTLAND STAGE!

This past Saturday, our club was fortunate enough to have 7 of our JAB players involved in the West Coast vs Thames Valley Heartland game day action.

What an awesome sight it was to see our juniors out there alongside our seniors and experiencing what it means to be part of rugby at the Heartland stage. These are the moments our young players will remember for years to come! 👏🏉

WESTS Junior Prizegiving for Under 6, Under 8, Under 10, Under 12 and Under 14 will be held on:

📅 Sunday 23rd August
⏰ 12:00pm midday
📍 WESTS Clubrooms

🏆 Prizegiving will be held first, followed by lunch for all teams.

👕 Players are asked to please wear their WESTS jersey or hoodie.

🍽️ Main meal will be provided, but if parents could please bring a sweet/dessert to share, that would be greatly appreciated.

Parents, please coordinate with your team manager regarding desserts.

🔥 MEET THE PLAYER | NATE CROY 🔥

Speed, confidence and X-factor out wide... meet Nate Croy from Wests Rugby Football Club ! ⚡🏉

Before kick-off, Nate keeps it simple—an energy-packed breakfast, no lunch, a playlist full of hype, then he's out on the field early to get a feel for the conditions while sharpening his goal kicking and game kicking before linking up with the boys.

The advice that has stayed with him throughout his rugby journey is simple but powerful: "Back yourself. Have a go." Those words from his club coaches give him the freedom and confidence to play his natural game.

Growing up, Nate looked up to Israel Dagg. His electric running game, fearless attacking style and game-breaking X-factor inspired Nate to chase the same excitement from the right wing and fullback.

⚡ As a right winger, Nate is all about pace, finishing ability and turning half-chances into points. Give him a sniff of space and he'll back himself to make something happen.

🏉 West Coast Heartlands 2026 – Community Support Needed 🏉

Hi everyone,

Just a reminder that I'm incredibly proud to be managing the West Coast Heartlands Team for the 2026 season.

As always, our West Coast community is fantastic at getting in behind our players, so I'm reaching out to see if anyone can lend a hand.

We currently have two players who have made the move to the Coast to represent Heartlands this season. One has already arrived from Auckland, and the second is due in today.

We're looking for: A spare vehicle that the boys could use over the next couple of months while they're here for the season. A labouring job for one of the players to help him through the season and the other one is a builder.

If we can make these guys feel welcome and supported, there's every chance they may decide to stay on the Coast and pull on the Wests jersey for our senior team next season. That's a great opportunity for both the players and our club.
