Wests Rugby invites all JAB parents and caregivers to join us at the clubrooms on Sunday 8 November at 1pm.

We’d love to hear your feedback, ideas and thoughts as we look ahead to next season.

We’re also keen to get more JAB representation on the club committee, so if you’d like to get involved and have a say in the future of our club, we’d love to see you there!

WESTS hosted the after-match following last Saturday’s Westland Wanderers vs Lincoln Lizards clash. A fast-paced, high-scoring game that finished in a draw!

A huge thanks to everyone who made the day a success:

⚫ Westland Wanderers & Linwood crew – For keeping the legacy alive and helping with numbers.

WESTS RFC would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of our life member Bernie Lee following his passing.

Bernie was a proud WESTS and St Mary’s man, who was heavily involved with the clubs both on and off the field.

His dedication, contribution and passion for the club will be fondly remembered by all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Our thoughts are with Bernie’s family and loved ones at this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Bernie. ❤️🖤

🇮🇹 HOST FAMILIES WANTED! 🏉

Our friends at the school are looking for host families for four Italian students who will be coming to the area — three boys and one girl.

We’re putting the call out to our awesome Wests Rugby families to see if anyone would be interested in opening their home and giving these students a great experience while they’re here.

Ideally, we’re looking for rugby families who would enjoy welcoming them into their family, introducing them to our club and community, and helping make their time in New Zealand a memorable one. 🇳🇿❤️🖤

🏆 WESTS U16 & U18 PRIZEGIVING 🏆

Wests Prizegiving for our Under 16 and Under 18 teams will be held this Friday, 11th September, at 6.00pm at the Wests Clubrooms.

🎉 Prizegiving will be followed by a supper for the teams.

It would be great to see a big turnout as we celebrate the season and recognise the efforts and achievements of our players.

🏉 JAB PLAYERS ON THE HEARTLAND STAGE!

This past Saturday, our club was fortunate enough to have 7 of our JAB players involved in the West Coast vs Thames Valley Heartland game day action.

What an awesome sight it was to see our juniors out there alongside our seniors and experiencing what it means to be part of rugby at the Heartland stage. These are the moments our young players will remember for years to come! 👏🏉

🌟 WESTS JUNIOR PRIZEGIVING 🌟

WESTS Junior Prizegiving for Under 6, Under 8, Under 10, Under 12 and Under 14 will be held on:

📅 Sunday 23rd August
⏰ 12:00pm midday
📍 WESTS Clubrooms

🏆 Prizegiving will be held first, followed by lunch for all teams.

👕 Players are asked to please wear their WESTS jersey or hoodie.

🍽️ Main meal will be provided, but if parents could please bring a sweet/dessert to share, that would be greatly appreciated.

Parents, please coordinate with your team manager regarding desserts.

We look forward to celebrating a great season with all our junior players and families! ❤️🖤
