Day 9 - Heading home ☹️☹️ Huge thanks to Tony Hardie for organizing our trip, the itinerary was perfect. We hope Janine is recovering well. Thanks to Brian and Carol Eccles for taking over the reins. Brian was in tune with the weather gods every day. Awesome bunch of people to travel with and some new friends made. Can’t wait till the next trip.

Day 8 - Wairau River. Our last day in the South Island ☹️ The weather played ball with us yet again! It pored down all the way from Murchison to Blenheim. Lovely clear day on the river. Couldn’t get downstream from where we launched, there were logs and branches right across the bridge span. They might want to clear that before the next flood. Relaxing night ahead in Picton before our last boat ride home.
