Back with our favourite host Cheski Brown at Abderry ☺️ Two shows as per attached, entries will open tomorrow for August event on EvoEvents NZ, Food and coffee vendors will be at both. Help on the day will be much appreciated 😇

Abderry is looking for a hard-working individual to join our fun, enthusiastic & dedicated team. The person we’re looking for needs to be

1. Looking for the opportunity to have a fixed Term Contract (until mid September)
2. A go-getter
3. Able to use initiative
4. Cheerful and
5. Prepared to ask for help when it’s needed.

Weekend work is also available

This is an exciting opportunity for a person with previous experience with young and/or boisterous horses to join Abderry, leading multi-faceted NZ Equestrian Centre in Karaka. (540, Glenbrook Road, Kingseat 2679)

The position will provide the successful candidate/s with the opportunity to work & learn in all areas of our Business, including in the Pre-Export Quarantine Barn and in our satellite barn where we handle Weanlings, Yearlings, Breakers and our HorseHotel clients.

These parts of our business require the ‘usual’ equine tasks of general horse grooming and care, making feeds, feeding out, mucking out, taking horses to & from Walker, to and from paddocks, washing and hairstyling manes, assisting visiting Vets, holding for the farrier and keeping the day-to-day running of the Abderry facilities - efficient, effective, clean and safe.

Today we celebrate an incredible milestone as Jan retires after 22 years as Office Manager at Abderry Equine Services.

For more than two decades, Jan has been the steady hand behind the computer, keeping everything running smoothly behind-the-scenes. Her contribution to Abderry has been immense, and the impact she's had on our team, clients, and the horses we care for will be remembered for years to come.

While Abderry will continue to grow and the work will carry on, there's no doubt that Jan has helped build the strong foundation that allows us to do just that.

Thank you, Jan, for your loyalty, hard work, and the countless ways you've supported us over the past 22 years. We wish you all the very best for your retirement and hope this next chapter is filled with happiness, relaxation, and everything you've been looking forward to.

Good luck, Jan, and thank you for everything. You'll always be a valued part of the Abderry story. 🐴💙
