Building URC Ice are heading to the finals against another strongly established club, Richmond 🫶🏼

From the very start, you guys looked very locked in. The 1%’ers won you your semi this weekend, lines were fab, defence were clever & relentless and that attacking circle was beautiful watch. Congrats our mates. Rest up, lock back in next week!

Round 2 has come to an end, and the OG’s have finished on top after a fantastic win over Taupō Sports on a beautiful day for netball.

A special welcome back goes to one of the originals, Moera Henry, who proved she’s still got it! After some time away from the game, she slotted straight back in and showed exactly why she’s an OG.

The ladies played some outstanding netball, worked hard for each other, and should be incredibly proud of their performance.

Congratulations, OG’s! UNITED WE STAND! 🖤❤️

Round 2 is complete, and Ice have finished on top of the table. A well-earned win and a strong way to head into the semi-finals. 🖤❤️

The team showed patience, maintained pressure through to the final whistle, and supported each other across the court. The connection from defence to attack was outstanding, producing quality netball and reinforcing just how enjoyable this team is to watch.

Congratulations to Grace, our Player of the Day. Her timing to the ball was excellent, she consistently provided a strong option, read the play well, and delivered quality ball to her teammates.

With semi-finals next week, today’s performance shows Ice are well prepared for the challenge ahead.

Today wasn’t just about netball. It was about showing up for our mates as they navigate the loss of a loved one. ❤️

Kruizers were relentless for all four quarters. We had each other’s backs, chased every loose ball, and never let up. Our shooters finished with over a 90% shooting percentage, while our defensive unit created countless turnovers that gave our attackers plenty of opportunities. Our attacking end worked seamlessly together, finding multiple ways to feed the circle and keep the scoreboard ticking over.

A huge shout-out to our Player of the Day, Fabiana 💃. He had our backs all game, slotted 2-pointers, reeled in some outrageous passes, and did it all while feeling unwell. What a performance. ❤️🖤
