EDR World Champs 2026
Not quite got the words for this one but disappointed is the current one at the moment.
I prepared the best I could, practice day was unreal I was having the best time, felt fast and strong. Took a nice rest day Saturday which also included the bike prep (privateer lifestyle) and then came race day Sunday.
Woke up excited as for race day, two big pedaling stages, physical and brutal which were right up my alley, and the rest were short and sharp stages.
Unfortunately come to the race stages there was nothing left in me, it was like someone had switched my energy switch off……… and it couldn’t be switched on again!
Huge disappointment and not really the result I wanted to finish the season. P18 in the end !
BUT… what I did have out there was SO much fun 🤩
Big days on the bike with a bunch of epic people, eating far too much gelato, catching up with old mates, making new friends, beach swims and soaking up the pretty awesome life we get to live.
So while the result wasn’t what I wanted, I’m still incredibly grateful for the whole experience ❤️

That’s the season done. Six months away from home and, man, I cannot wait to get back to NZ 🇳🇿🏠
It’s been super special having Dad over here too — exploring the trails on the e-bike and somehow making it to every stage to cheer me on. Absolute legend ❤️
And a HUGE shoutout to everyone who supported me this season and helped get me out here racing. It genuinely wouldn’t be possible without you.
