🎉 Registrations for Simply Weekend 2026 are now open!

This year we've replaced the competition with more workshops and more social dancing, plus another surprise or two to be announced soon. We're also capping off the weekend with the "Alice in Wonderland" themed Waterfront Wonderland party at Foxglove.

More details, including workshop slots and info, will be released in the coming weeks. Reminder that you can update your registration right up until they close on October 9th.

🩷 Ngā mihi nui to everybody who came along to the Pink Party yesterday, we loved all your pink outfits! Together we raised $660 for Breast Cancer Foundation NZ, so they can continue to fund education, research and patient support.

Kia ora team. Given all the flight cancellations, and the herculean effort people are making to get to Classic, we're changing the schedule. We're going to run our fun events first (Lucky Dip, Roulette, Swaps & Steals), then in the afternoon we'll run DWAS and Freestyle. Hopefully this allows as many people to compete as possible.

If your flight gets you in tomorrow afternoon, you may still be able to compete. We will post an updated schedule once we have it. For those of you who have lost partners, we'll be looking to match as many of you as is possible.

We understand this is tricky, we really appreciate your patience as our team works through this.

Travel safe, we hope to see as many of you as possible. 💙

🤤 Excited to announce that Tayta's Gourmet Lebanese Cuisine food truck will be set up outside Alan Gibbs Centre from 8:30am until after lunch on Saturday with amazing food, beverages, and COFFEE!

🎉 It's Classic Week! We have a stunning line-up starting from Wednesday and Thursday this week with special guests teaching classes, followed by the Welcome Party on Friday.

Reminder that even if you're not competing this weekend, there's still heaps to do, and social dance passes available on the door.
