Ballet is training more than just your body🧠

Every ballet class is also giving your brain a workout! As you dance, your brain is constantly learning choreography, improving balance, coordinating movement, and building stronger neural pathways through a process called neuroplasticity which is your brain’s ability to adapt and grow.

It’s one of the reasons dance is such a powerful activity, no matter your age or experience. Whether you’re stepping into your very first class or have been dancing for years, every lesson is helping both your body and your mind.

So if you leave class feeling mentally tired as well as physically challenged, that’s completely normal, your brain has been working hard too! 🩰💜

Crazy Sock Night brought plenty of laughs to Beginner Ballet tonight. Safe to say regular socks just don’t compare!

👑 KING’S BIRTHDAY WEEKEND 👑

Just a little reminder that there will be no classes on Sunday 31 May & Monday 1 June due to King’s Birthday ✨

We’ll see you all back in the studio on Wednesday 3rd June ready to dance! 💜

Please note:
Tuesday Zumba students will have access to the studio as per usual, as well as a video from Lorna while she is still away 🕺💻

A little Spiritus update 💜✨

Lorna is off on a very well deserved break to spend time with family in the UK and celebrate her mum’s 70th birthday 🥂🇬🇧

While she’s away, classes will continue as normal with our amazing teaching team. This is a great chance for dancers to learn from different teachers, styles and perspectives 🌟
