Night riding wahooo!

Busy Trickle Creeker's in play and work today. Helping Farmer John with the gravel base in preparation for the drainage materials going in next. Chalk drawing on the blackboard then wiping it off lots, looking after the pets, new hay beds and yummy greens.

A beautiful winters day for a fun and horsey birthday celebration. Happy 6th birthday, and such a super cute cake too.

Wednesday fun experience at Trickle Creek. We painted our clay work, looked after all the pets and helped John with some farm jobs too.

Another fun night at the paddock tonight!

We found lots of ways to explore mathematics in our play today. From counting objects, making sets of things like bags of sawdust and wood, measuring angles, length, height for the posts, using the math rods to problem solve, sharing the pet food out so each animal had a mix of goodies, the list goes on. Plus some horse play too practicing saddle mounting, grooming and a wee ride.

What a beautiful sunny day for horse riding. Today's first rider trotted horse in hand and then mounted solo (developing her rising to the trot skills), the second had her first solo horse ride ever, and the third rode side by side with her mum today, a first shared experience for them both. Fabulousness.
I have some riding lesson spaces available for next Sunday too if you're keen for a fun horsey experience.

Had a fabulous deluxe party today for 14 children and 20 adults, where the goodies were overflowing from the treasure box, inside the trendy 'Golden' themed cake was a beautiful rainbow, gorgeous. Pony rides enjoyed by many, as well as snuggly time with the bunnies and guineapigs. We filled Horokiwi with our birthday wishes , all while having a group dressup photo shoot. Magic.

Wow wee, this rider is doing great with her riding lessons. Today she nailed all the horse prep and her first rize to the trot! Delighted for her.
