Hey all you motocross nutters with cabin fever from the last month or so ,
the time has finally come
Hairy Hills raceway is now open again and ready for riding.
just had a massive session with the rotor spike up there, and the soil moisture is perfect.
the track is looking like a
MxGP track now
So get your bike out of the shed this weekend
Rally up ya mates and get up there as of now the track is OPEN.

*Just a important COVID-19 note; remember to keep your social distancing, please bring your own pen to sign in with,
There will be hand sanitiser there so please use it, and stay safe out there.

McCreary Workshop sponsored the New Zealand Mini Nationals held on the 6th and 7th of October.

Hairy took the kids racing at the New Zealand Mini Nationals in the weekend. What a wicked day! Beautiful weather, the event was run exceptionally well, the track is awesome and overall was an amazing day. Cheers to the organizers of the event for making this day happen. The kids had a blast! Hairy Hills is now open!

The track has been freshly groomed ready for spring riding.
There are sheep around so please be mindful of this and if the sheep are nearby, do a couple of slow laps to allow the sheep to move from th track.

A friendly reminder of a few things:
Please sign in and pay at the honesty box BEFORE riding.
Respect the track and stick to the track only.
There are cameras and any person caught not signing in and paying will be issued a $100 fine as well as named and shamed on Facebook. Don't be that person!

Introducing the CVTR-F 1000R drag bike.

This machine was built for a client, specifically for the 2017 New Zealand Dirt Drags.

We finished the bike at 7:30 Friday night, had the bike up in Parawera, near Hamilton by 4:30 in the morning. Hit practice at 8:30 and by the end of the day, it had won it's class and overall was 3rd fastest of the whole event, with a standing quarter mile time of 9.2 seconds!!!
