Winter is Here
Hi Members,
We have been really fortunate with the weather up till now but as we are heading into the winter months the rain we have had in the last few days has changed the course conditions. The course has become soft and muddy underfoot creating slippery surfaces.
It is at this time we would like to remind all cart users to travel around the course with caution, follow all signage, and stay on as many cart paths as possible.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Happy Golfing

Saturdays weather was superb and the scoring reflected that. The course was immaculate with quick smooth greens. The highlight was Jonny van Delden’s hole in one but there was also a lot of great golf being played by the 24 pairs.
On Sunday afternoon the wind got up and the course changed completely and players struggled to keep the ball in play and on some of the greens. It was great to watch! We are so lucky to have a course of this quality (I may not have said this as my ball trickled off the 2nd green!) and thanks must go to our greens keeping staff.
Another well run Doig Bowl and thanks go to Wayne Luxton for his tireless work in managing the event. Congratulations to the winners not only of the tournament but also to the many on course prize winners. And thanks to all the 48 entrants for making it a great golfing weekend.

He’s done it again!
Jonny van Delden scored an ace - a hole in one - on the 9th hole at Belmont yesterday while competing in the Doig Dowl.
He caressed a high 8 iron with a touch of fade and watched it land and role up into the hole.
He then ran faster than Usain Bolt down the hill to the green to double check it had gone in.
It’s his second on that hole and third overall in a short golfing career.
Just remarkable. Great work Jonny
