That’s a wrap for our 3-Day VolleyTeens School Holiday Camp!

A big thank you to Senior Coach Michael and Coach Gary for taking our athletes through three intensive days of training, development and plenty of volleyball.

At the VolleyTeens level, the focus goes beyond simply learning the skills. It is about developing stronger fundamentals, better game understanding, confidence and good training habits that athletes can continue building on after the camp.

Well done to all our athletes for showing up, putting in the work and challenging yourselves over the three days. Every training session is another opportunity to improve — and progress comes from consistency.

For many of these young players, camps like this are where the journey begins, building their fundamentals, learning how to work with teammates, developing confidence on court and discovering their love for the sport.

Thank you as well to all the parents for entrusting your children to JRT Volleyball Academy during the school holidays. We hope the kids went home each day with new skills, new friendships and plenty of good memories.

We’re proud to share that Abel, Josh and Zheng Yu will be departing Singapore for Nagoya, Japan, where they will represent Voreas Hokkaido Kushiro at the 2026 SV.LEAGUE U15 Championship this weekend!

This is more than just another tournament. It is an opportunity for our young athletes to step into a different competitive environment, experience Japanese volleyball culture, and challenge themselves against some of the best U15 players in Japan.

Go with confidence, compete with courage, learn from every moment, and represent yourselves and Singapore proudly. 💪🔥

JRT Volleyball Academy will be conducting selection trials for athletes who are keen to represent JRT at the ActiveSG Cup 2026.

🇯🇵 Thank You, Voreas Hokkaido Junior! 🇸🇬🏐

A big thank you to Junichi-san, the coaches, and all the players from Voreas Hokkaido Junior for welcoming our two Singapore athletes and giving them the opportunity to train and prepare together ahead of the upcoming SV.League Junior competition.

This experience in Hokkaido has been more than just volleyball training. It has given our athletes valuable exposure to a different training environment, coaching culture, level of intensity, and expectations of Japanese junior volleyball.

We sincerely appreciate the time, guidance and support that everyone at Voreas Hokkaido Junior has extended to them. Experiences like these are an important part of developing young athletes—not only technically, but also in their independence, discipline and understanding of the game.

And our Singapore contingent isn't complete yet. 🇸🇬

One more Singapore athlete will be joining us for the upcoming SV.League Junior competition. Stay tuned for the announcement! 👀🏐

For now, the boys are heading back to Singapore, where the work continues. They have three weeks to prepare themselves, sharpen their game and return ready to compete alongside their teammates in Japan.

From 3–7 August 2026, our athletes came together for the JRT Volleyball Academy Pre-Season Intensive Camp, where the focus was on developing sound fundamentals, improving game understanding, and building the habits required for long-term success.

Under the guidance of Master Coach Jack and Coach Gary, every session challenged our athletes to refine their technical skills, make better decisions on court, and embrace the discipline required to keep improving.

At JRT, we believe that true development happens through consistent quality training not shortcuts. Every drill, every repetition, and every correction is an investment in the athlete's future.

A huge thank you to all our athletes for your commitment, energy, and willingness to learn throughout the week. We also thank the parents for your trust and support in allowing us to be part of your volleyball journey.
