Throwback Thursday! 🥳

This was taken in July 2021 when we were still forced 😂 to stay indoors due to the pandemic.

I had never mentioned why I kept teaching, virtually, 6 days a week in my livingroom. The purpose of teaching was to stay sane because cabin fever is a real thing. And while most people stopped teaching because it's virtual where you don't see people live in-person I just kept going because I picked-up skills most people don't acquire because teaching virtually is not the same as in-person.

If you don't acquire those skills your session will feel lifeless or dead & the numbers in the class will drop dramatically - eg. You have 40 people at the beginning & it will drop to 5 by the end of it. Virtual Pro training was helpful, too.

By the way, you will lose your skills if you took too long of a break - it's like how I was fluent in French, Spanish & Japanese but I struggle with those languages because I don't use them as often anymore.

I do miss teaching virtually because everyone is back to life in-person now & there are times I do think of doing a pop-up session once in awhile - there are times I will have people from other countries in the class which made it fun! Plus, the people in my house need a break from me using the space regularly for that few years 😅

And I loved this Flamenco at that time & I kept myself busy with choreo-ing it. ✨️

I wouldn't have managed to be a Zumba®️ Jammer if I had stopped teaching & learning. I'm grateful for this experience ❤️
