On the 22nd of March, the International Taekwon-Do Federation was formed with associations in Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, West Germany, the United States, Turkey, Italy, Arab Republic of Egypt and Korea.

Happy Presidents' Day!
It wasn’t until January 31, 1879, that Washington’s birthday (February 22) became a federally recognized holiday.
In 1968, Congress passed the “Uniform Monday Holiday Act,” designed to provide annual observances of certain legal public holidays on Mondays. Under this new law, Washington’s birthday would be celebrated on the third Monday of February.

Remembering General Choi Hong Hi November 9, 1918
Like the ripple effect of a pebble dropped in a pond, when General Choi Hong Hi was born 103 years ago today all our lives changed. On the other hand, when General Choi Hong Hi passed away, the ripple effect was "Original" Taekwon-Do began to change. Over nineteen years later the Instructors of the true Taekwon-Do of General Choi are few and far between.
As stated in the encyclopedia of Taekwon-Do "these volumes are proof of General Choi tenacity of dedication to keeping the Original Taekwon-Do free from unproved imitations, and with the cooperation of all true Taekwon-Do students, no mater what grade, weed out those who seek to destroy his teachings"
