Snowdrop dance 2026, it was a lovely afternoon with great music by and friends!

We had great music for our George Washington-themed party!

Did you know George Washington was an enthusiastic dancer? We're going to celebrate that aspect of him this month at George Washington's Birthday Ball, with dances that he could have experienced (and a couple that honored him specifically).
Join us at the Woman's Club of Arlington, 700 S Buchanan St. on Saturday, February 21 from 2-5 pm.
Cost for the event is $20, and we encourage contributions of ready-to-eat refreshments, particularly if they have a colonial connection.
English and Scottish country dancers, including beginners, are welcome! Colonial dress is very welcome, but definitely not required.

Happy New Year to our dancing friends (and would-be dancers)! We'll be regathering for our winter-spring trimester on January 8, so plan to be there! Newcomers are welcome, but you'll learn fastest and get the most fun if you can attend regularly. More class details and information on schedules and fees can be found here:

Northern Virginia Scottish Walk 2025!!

Our FUNdamentals class for new beginners will restart with Part 2 on October 30. Those wishing to see what the dancing is like should come and watch our dance party that Thursday, and then join the class on Nov. 6 as those who began with Part 1 in September continue to develop their dancing skills. If you danced in the Sept-Oct Part 1 class, encourage your friends to come take a look on 10/30!
