This past weekend, the Elon in DC Softball team finished up their season at the 24th Capitol Alumni Network Softball Tournament, held at Goddard Softball Complex.

Throughout the season Brett Coop Cooper, '05, and Wendy Stahl, '08, led 25 alumni and friends to wins over the area alumni associations of LSU, Stanford, Boston U, Providence, Indiana, NC State, George Mason, and Ohio State!

Thanks to everyone who came out to support the team. We would love for even more alumni to join the squad next season! Let us know if you are interested in playing softball, flag football, soccer, volleyball or basketball with your fellow Elon in DC Alumni!!

For my MBA Entrepreneurship class, we have to create a business and sell something in a two-hour window. Our business is raffling off a set of the newly released Apple AirPod Pro earbuds. All the proceeds will be donated to tackling cancer, mental health, and su***de prevention. Please visit our website tomorrow, Monday, November 25 ONLY between 12-2pm EST [https://mobro.co/CharityRaffles] and buy a few raffle tickets. Also, please send this message out on your social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) feeds. This is the easiest way for our business to get exposure.
Hey everyone! We're looking for players for our DUKE ALUMNI VOLLEYBALL TEAM to compete in the 2020 Capital Alumni Network league (Washington, DC area). Do you know any former Duke club volleyball players in the DC area? Can you help us get the word out to them? They can message Jessi Gordon or me. We need the submit the team registration fee by Dec. 19 but the rosters aren't due until January.

Here's are the details for the 2020 season:

- Games are held at Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria, VA (if you live in DC proper, we may be able to carpool)
- Games on Sundays (typically in the evening)
- The season starts in January and runs through March with a tournament on March 7-8
- Every team will play 8-10 regular season games
- Co-ed league - 3 women / 3 men or 4 women / 2 men
- 70% of the people playing must be Duke alums (if you know any non-alums that are amazing at volleyball, let me know!)
- Teammates will be needed to ref/line ref a few games throughout the season
- Team registration is ~$700 and will be divided evenly among the team. We are aiming for 7-8 players so player fees may be as low as ~$87.

Go Duke!

I play for George Mason. I lost my glove on Saturday. We played the 11:40am game against Arizona State on field #5. We sat on the 3rd base side and I don't know where my glove went after that. I asked around on Sunday and nobody has seen it. It's an all black leather Rawlings, about 12.5", no holes in the webbing and says Heart of the Hide in the palm. I'll be playing there this Saturday. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Hi CAN Team, will the Back-To-School Supply Drive 📚✏📒✏ be held at the softball tournament 🥎⚾️ again this year? If so, I'd like to volunteer, on behalf of the DC Gamecock Softball Team, thanks.
Anyone know the NPS fields rain out phone number? Trying to keep tabs on game situation.
