A slower night on the amount of anglers due to the heat, but the bass didn’t seem to care. Still some decent bags being brought in. A 13lb average is mf bad.

Congrats to the money winners.

Taking top honors was Jay Johnson and Dustin Johnson with 14.14lbs. No giants were caught, just a solid average. Way to go guys.

Taking the second and the last paying spot was Taylor Faust. Fishing solo just edging out third place by a couple of ounces with 13.68 lbs.

Nice job guys!

Tuesday night, Mansfield dam on Lake Travis.
Blast off at 6:30pm. Have your boat number card on the table no later than 10pm to be able to weigh your fish.

On-site registration the evening before will be at Texasboatworld Harker Heights (Sept 18, 4pm-6pm), or at Dana Peak Park on Sept 19, starting 5am.

Due to (once again) things outside our control, we had to change the dates to *SEPTEMBER 19-20*. The 2026 Championship will be held at... drumroll 🥁...

Qualified anglers should have received an email (as of August 25) with a link to their registration page, which will remain active until September 18 2026.

EDIT: We will have 1 practice day on Friday September 18, from Safe Light to 5pm, at Stillhouse Hollow.
The off-limits period prior to the tournament will be September 14-17.

No Travis Tuesday Night this week.

Looks like we’re going to have to skip this weeks Tuesday Nighter on Travis. Our tournament director had prior obligations and we couldn’t get a replacement to run the tournament on short notice. We apologize as we know how much everyone looks forward to it.

We’ll be back the following week 8/25.

Get it in the water, turn the key, and put the day to good use. A Bass Cat was never meant to sit still.

Great night on Travis last night. Lots of good bags weighed in. Lots of 13-14lb bags brought in! But the team of Grant Burroughs and Kevin Patterson decided to take all the money last night and leave the rest of the field in their dust!

Running away with it was Grant Burroughs and Kevin Patterson dropping a huge 23.66 on the scale anchored by a giant 9.11 monster for a kicker!! Taking home 1st place and big bass money!

Taking home second place was the team of John and Joe McNamara. Dropping a respectable 14.64! Just edging out the third place team of Rob Harrison and Joseph Fuentes’ bag of 14.35.

Congrats to Grant on his Lake Travis monster! And to all the money winners.

A little slower night this week with 14 boats. But the bags being brought in continue to impress! 15+ lb bags seem to be the norm this year year on Travis! We paid out two spots this week.

Bringing in another big bag this week for the win was Utah Anderson with 17.24lbs. Utah has been impressive this year, being a top contender every week.

Second was the team of Dave Mangelsdorf and Brian Mater with 15.31lbs Score one for the old guys.

Thanks to everyone one that continues to support us every Tuesday night.

Another reminder, fish care is critical this time of year, so make sure you’re keeping up with your catch and fizzing fish as needed.

10 o’clock weigh in

Fun night last night on Travis. It was awesome to see the lake at full pool again. With the water being up the fish get scattered on these highland lakes. But it was good to see almost every team brought in a limit of fish.

Taking top honors this week was the team of Ben Morton and Collin Lansdale with 16.41! These guys are starting be a part of the group of usual suspects expected to be in the money every week.

Second was Utah Anderson and Aly Woodford. They dropped a respectable bag of 13.74lb.

And coming in a close third were Shea Eason and Chapman Burkhart with 13.36lb.
