ATTENTION ANGLERS!! TRAVIS TUESDAY NIGHT ON TRAVIS IS CANCELLED TONIGHT DUE TO SEVERE WEATHER THREAT!

Looks like Mother Natural is at it again. Due to the rising threat of severe weather coming through right at blast off and again as the sun is going down we feel like we’re going to take the safe route and cancel tonight’s Tuesday Nighter on Travis.

We hate to have to do that two weeks in a row with the lake fishing as good as it’s been, but we do not want anyone stuck in it after dark.

We’ll try again next week!

WITEK & KESSLER WIN LBJ 2026 with $7,456! Kenny Witek & Russell Kessler win TTZ Trail #4 Lake LBJ with 27.63 lb and $7,456!

Due to the threat of some severe weather during tournament time, we are going to postpone tonight’s Tuesday nighter on Travis. Reports show some severe weather to pop up from about 7 or 8 on into the night with a possibility of 60-70 mph winds and heavy rain and or hail we feel it’s best to to be cautious.

We know central Texas weather is unpredictable, but we’d rather be safe than sorry.

If anyone lost a set of keys during the LBJ tournament, a set was found by the parks people at McNair park and were taken to the Sunrise Beach city hall. Not sure if it was any of us, but throwing it out there.

Awesome day on LBJ! Despite the heat, wind and weekend traffic, anglers were still able to scratch out some big bags. We had just under 80 teams show up. We paid down to 11th place and thanks to Legend Tuning an additional bonus of $400 was paid to the first team out of the money!
Congrats to all the money winners!

First place went to Kenny Whitek and Russell Kessler with 27.63! Taking home $5300 in winnings plus an additional $2156 in side pot money!

Second was taken by the team of Grant Gale and Michael Gale. Bringing in an impressive 23.40lbs anchored by the tournament’s biggest bass at 8.12lbs! That got them an impressive $3200, plus side pot of $1372 and took $760 home for big bass! Way to go!

The team of Chris Studinger and Martin Keppeler ended up third with a nice bag of 22.11lbs. That earned them $2150 plus their share of the side pot $833!

Great job to the top 3!
