Happy Birthday to the heart of Washington Judo Academy, Sensei Tomoko! 💚🥋

As one of our founding members, Sensei Tomoko has helped build WJA into the dojo and family it is today. She is an incredible sensei, mentor, and the person who somehow keeps all of us—and the entire dojo—together. 😂💚

Her dedication to our students, families, and judo community is something we are incredibly grateful for.

Come celebrate her with us TONIGHT at 8:00 PM for a special Birthday Open Mat! 🎂🥋

Come train, celebrate, and show some love to the sensei who does so much for all of us.

Happy Birthday, Sensei Tomoko! 🎉💚
お誕生日おめでとうございます！🎂

What a weekend! Huge thanks to everyone who came out for our joint training on July 11–12. A full mat, great energy, and two days of really good judo — we couldn't have asked for better company. Thanks for all the hard work and the smiles. Let's do it again soon! 🙌
