This weekend at I57 Dragstrip. Our season points finale on Saturday and it’s gonna be a banger. 3 classes will crown a champion with multiple racers still vying for that coveted track championship. Good luck racers. Friday night test tune will feature one lane Radial Prepped.

Friday. Test/tune. 5-9pm.
$5 gate fee. Kids 12 under free
$30 tech card.
***one lane will be Radial Prepped for any racer wanting to test for our Fall Fest coming up Oct 2nd-3rd. ( no street or hard tires allowed in this lane) ***

Saturday.
Gates open at 1pm . Time runs at 3pm. . Racing at 5pm.

Points races this Saturday.
$10 gate fee. Kids 12 under free
Test/tune tech card $30 (called as a class).

Maple Grove Raceway Reopens After Shutdown

MAPLE GROVE RACEWAY IS BACK!

The historic Mohnton, Pennsylvania, facility announced that its gates are officially open again, with additional racing information coming soon.

Maple Grove abruptly closed on August 17 and suspended its remaining schedule for what officials called “strategic refocusing, restructuring and regrouping.” The shutdown came shortly after IHRA canceled the remainder of its 2026 national Nitro Series operations.

Now, less than a month later, the message racers and fans wanted to hear has arrived:

“WE ARE NOW OPEN!”

A new schedule features racing through November, beginning with a Friday Night Test-N-Tune on September 18. In their post, they did not specify which sanctioning body.

Well the bad luck bug has hit us again. Between rain. Weather and just dumb bad luck we cannot catch a break.
We are CLOSED until further notice. Hopefully just this weekend and let me explain.
We experienced something tonight I’ve never came across. We lost the left side of our tree. It’s almost midnight and I just got home after attempting to fix it for the last 6 hours.
We were able to run 1 lane for the test tune but the left lane tree will not stay on.
After hours of tearing apart the tree in between cars running, pulling wires and replacing boards. We found the issue. Our plug that connects the tree to the tower is broken internally. There is a big crack that has allowed wires to touch taking the left lane signal out.
Unfortunately this is not a local hardware store item. It’s a 16 pin ACU plug and must be ordered. The soonest we can get one is Monday and the repair is soldering 16. Yes 16 mini phone cable wires into this thing which I know is not gonna be fun.
We have no recourse but to close. We cannot race on one lane. We truly apologize as this is 100 percent out of our control and is just a wear issue.
Please no negativity on here. We’ve had enough of that this year. Let’s just get this thing fixed and get back to racing.
