Meet Coach Alli! She is a Magic City athlete turned Coach and we are so proud to call her ours! Alli is humble and kind and leads her athletes with true passion for our sport. She was an athlete for 13 years, cheered for her local middle school and high school, competed as a Magic City All Star, was a UCA All American cheerleader and now rocks it at the gym everyday as one of our athletes favorite coaches!

Meet Coach Jake! He grew up in Opelika, AL and graduated from Auburn University where he earned a Bachelors of Science (Kinesiology) in 2011. Jake’s love for tumbling started at an early age where he spent his time in power tumbling at his home gym and competed from the ages of 5-13 years old. He also cheered 2 years in high school and 3 years competitively. His wide range of experience comes with lots of knowledge in tumbling and stunting and his passion for this sport is a BIG as his heart. He has a lot of positive energy to share and is wonderful with athletes of all skill levels. We are so thankful to have coach Jake at Magic City!

Meet Coach Tre!! He is Magic City’s Director of Marketing, everyone’s favorite Coach and best hype man! He’ll have a handshake waiting for you when you walk in the gym (IFYKYK) but gets down to business once the lesson starts. He has called Magic City home for the past 4 years and truly loves what he does. He works with athletes of all ages and skill levels and is great at pushing athletes to reach their full potential! Coach Tre has competed as an All Star athlete for 3 seasons, coached at Lawson State for 2 years and has years of experience as a tumbling and All Star coach. Magic City wouldn’t be the same without this fun and energetic coach and we’re so thankful to have him!

Leaving NCA with 3 first place champions, 2 third place wins and 1 fourth place win. We are so proud of our athletes perseverance!!! We are proud to be Magic City All Stars!

Meet Coach Cat Isbell! Cat has been our go-to tryout prep coach since 2014!! She has coached her own cheer teams in the Oak Mtn. and Moody school systems all while being a full time teacher, getting her Masters of Education in Secondary English Education, and Education Specialist in Teacher Leader ANNDDD coaching at Magic City! While Coach Cat started as a tryout prep coach for us years ago she has grown into so much more and now offers training in tumbling, jumps, motions and stunts. We are so thankful to have this hard working lady on staff with us!!

Meet Coach Kyle! To know him is to love him ☺️ He is everyone’s best cheerleader with the most consistent attitude and shows up day after day with a smile on his face. He is known for his encouraging coaching style and funny nicknames. Building athletes up comes natural to him and he knows how to get results! No one can coach a cartwheel better than Coach Kyle and he has a full progression technique that can’t fail. He can do it all 💪🏻and we are so thankful he has called Magic City home since 2016!!

Spring semester classes started today and it was great to be back in the gym with our athletes and coaches! We’re excited for a fresh start with a renewed mindset and ready to put in the work in 2022 💪🏻 This is going to be the best year yet at Magic City!! Who is ready to make 2022 the year they took their skills to the next level!

We had our first competition of the season yesterday and it was the BEST day!! We took home some awesome and well deserved awards but more importantly the day was filled with happy athletes and the most supportive parents! Magic City is blessed with the best athletes, parents and coaches and yesterday was so fun to be able to enjoy time together doing what our athletes and coaches love to do! Congrats to everyone on a wonderful first competition!!! Hard work pays off 💪🏻

Our Magic City All Stars Showcase is right around the corner and we can’t wait to see our athletes preform in full uniform for the first time this season 👏👏 The event will be held on Sunday, November 14 from 3:00-5:30 where all of our Birmingham AND Montgomery teams will be preforming for family and friends.🤸 We’re excited to have and at the event as well so bring your coins to enjoy some yummy treats while supporting our hardworking athletes ☺️ See you there!! ☺️
