On this You Win Wednesday, my heart is heavy as I share that on Sunday, I lost one of my closest aunts — a woman who played such a meaningful role in my life from childhood into adulthood.

Even in grief, I choose gratitude.

I thank God for every moment He allowed us to share together.

Some of my sweetest memories were spending time with my aunt and uncle when I was younger, and later being there as they raised their three sons. I loved babysitting for them, laughing with them, learning from them, and simply being surrounded by their love.

My aunt and uncle even gave me my very first pop-up camper — something that became such a beautiful part of my life with my own children and family. What may have seemed small to others became memories and traditions I still carry in my heart today.

My aunt taught me things that stayed with me because they were rooted in love, wisdom, strength, and goodness.

And for that… I will always be grateful.

Grief has a way of reminding us what truly matters. Life is precious. Time is valuable. Love is a gift.

Sometimes we pray for God to keep our loved ones here, never fully realizing the silent battles they may be fighting while trying to stay strong for everyone else.

And while our hearts hurt deeply, there is peace in knowing there is a place where there is no more sickness, no more pain, and no more suffering.

Just peace.
Just eternity.
Just God.

So today, even through tears, I choose to celebrate love, legacy, family, and the blessing of having someone so special to miss.

To everyone who has called, texted, inboxed me, prayed for me, checked on me, or simply thought of me during this difficult time… thank you. Your love has meant more than you know.

Please continue to keep our family lifted in prayer.

I love you forever, Auntie.
And I will miss you deeply. ❤️🕊️
