Location change! DeMeyer park dash will be joining the Brookdale Meadows neighborhood fun run (1 mile fun run for kids, 5K for others). Canned donations will still be donated to local food bank. Time is still 0900, location is the cul de sac at 12854 W Ventana Ct Boise Idaho 83714. Hope to see you there! 🦃 💨

It has come to our attention that the restrooms at DeMeyer park are closed for the winter-there will NOT be a port a potty available either (apparently nobody works on Thanksgiving Day) please plan accordingly (like a camel) 🐫

To respond to the overwhelming responses we have received 😃 a few FAQs to put out there
1. yes to jogging strollers, roller blades/roller skates etc (no hover boards though-they're just creepy)
2. No there is not an award for 1st place, other than pride and mad respect but there is a grand prize for the "most inspirational" participant.
3. ALL canned food items will be donated to a local food bank-that is the entry "fee"
4. Yes, you can walk and even talk if you'd like (Holly Perry) research has proven that you burn more calories talking during exercise
5. No, there are not official t-shirts, maybe next year 😉
