Signing off for spring bear season. Thank you for the memories, the lessons and the story that will forever be remembered. From killing bears, to learning more about their behavior, spring bear has again provided more than I could’ve asked for. For that, I am thankful.

Bear season update: This is about as authentic as it gets. I’ve gone back and forth about sharing this story but this is the reality of archery hunting. I’ve been stressed out, nervous, and upset about the reality of what has transpired. This isn’t how I wanted things to go, but then again, these are the challenges that will push us to be better not only for ourselves, but for those around us. Let’s see how these last couple days play out. 🤞🏼

Angry Dick is officially tagged out on this gorgeous color phase Idaho black bear. He shot with his Smith & Wesson .357 Magnum and made a perfect shot! What a great way to make memories in the mountains on Father’s Day, packing out a great bear!

Father’s Day is a special day and celebrates the foundation of what Steep Kuntry was started on. After being at full draw for over a minute, Ellie was able to make a fatal shot on this beautiful Idaho boar! The recovery process demanded some patience, but in the end, we got it done. Thankful for the opportunity to take such amazing animals, and have it all documented. 2026 spring bear season is just heating up! 🔥🙌🏼
