One thing I've noticed after teaching Pilates for over 25 years...
It's not that instructors don't care about anatomy. It's that so many were taught in a way that made it feel overwhelming.
You don't need to memorize every muscle, every origin and insertion, or every page in an anatomy textbook to become a better instructor.
You need to understand how the body moves.
You need to know why a client can't get into a position, why one side feels different than the other, what muscles are actually working, and how to modify safely when something doesn't look right.
That's why I created Applied Anatomy & Biomechanics for Fitness Instructors: Anatomy Made Easy.
I built it for instructors who have ever thought:
• "I should know this..."
• "I understand it in class, but then I forget."
• "I don't feel confident explaining anatomy to my clients."
My goal was simple: make anatomy practical, easy to understand, and something you can actually use the next time you teach.
If anatomy has ever made you feel intimidated, you're definitely not alone.
