Today, Día de los Mu***os (Day of the Dead), we celebrate the lives of those who came before us. A beautiful tradition that reminds us that although our loved ones may no longer be physically here, their stories, traditions, and most importantly their LOVE live on through us. ♥️🍿

Now I could leave it at that but I wanted to share a bit of my story and why this movie means so much. I chose the name Rooted because of my family, my culture, and the generations before me. The opportunity to build a life alongside my husband is possible because of the sacrifices and hardworking hands of my ancestors. I carry their love in everything I do.

To my querido papi, te amo. ❤️ I remember your silliness just as much as your hard work. I honor both of those qualities and your love every single day through Rooted.

Día de los Mu***os can feel like a day of sadness, but at its heart, it’s a celebration of life. A celebration of love, memories, and the people who continue to live on through us. ❤

💕 $208 raised for breast cancer awareness! 💕

Our pink Pilates class was such a special one! We raised $208 for Breast Cancer Foundation, and I couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who showed up, moved with us, donated, and helped make this class meaningful.

Breast cancer affects millions of people and their families. According to the American Cancer Society, breast cancer is one of the most common cancers among women in the United States. Awareness, early detection, regular screenings, and access to care can make a meaningful difference. 💗

Behind every statistic is a person, a family, and a story. Today was a reminder that even small acts of community and generosity can add up to something bigger. Thank you for helping Rooted Pilates support this cause and for showing up my lovely friends.

It’s officially spooky season 👻🎃

A few fall updates at Rooted Pilates :

🍂 New fall mat schedule is here! With limited Saturday classes this month, I added a pop-up mat class on Wednesday, October 14 at 5 PM. This one will be donation-based in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 💗

👻 Halloween-themed mat class Saturday, October 31 at 10 AM. Expect spooky teasers, tricky planks, and a little Halloween fun.

💗 Breast Cancer Awareness Pop-Up: Wednesday, October 14 at 5 PM. Donation-based.

👻 Early bird special for prenatal series ended October 5.

👻 Save the date: Coco at the Carlisle Theatre on November 2 at 2 PM.
