Tutu School in Cary offers ballet for kids 6 months to 8 years.
Tutu School is a boutique-style ballet school that caters specifically to children 6 months to 8 years-old. Our mission is simple: We believe that exposing children at the earliest possible age to creativity, movement, and classical music will only serve them well in whatever they choose to do with their lives, that dancing like swans and Sugar Plum Fairies not only exercises little bodies but also nurtures big imaginations, and that twirling should be a fundamental part of any childhood.

Once upon a time, there simply was a little girl who fell in love with ballet π©°β¨
That led to an incredible career performing around the world - and now to sharing the magic of ballet with thousands of children and families over the past eleven years through , , and .
As we prepare to open our fourth studio , I feel just as excited as I did when we welcomed our very first little dancers in 2015.
Thank you to every family who has been a part of this journey so far. Your trust has meant more than I could ever express.
I truly can't wait to begin this next chapter with you π

Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed around how children learn, grow, and experience the world.
β¨ Imagination-based learning encourages creativity, problem-solving, and flexible thinking as dancers use movement to explore stories and new ideas.
π€ An inclusive environment helps children develop confidence, empathy, and a sense of belonging by knowing they are welcomed and celebrated exactly as they are.
πΈ A non-competitive approach allows children to focus on growth, effort, and self-expression while building resilience and a positive relationship with movement.
π Ballet Storytime supports language development, listening skills, and imagination by connecting storytelling with creative movement.
π©° A child-centered approach meets children where they are, helping them build independence, confidence, coordination, and a lifelong love of learning.
Ballet is the beginning, the benefits reach far beyond β¨
