Three days underwater, countless memories, and a bunch of new friends. 💙🤿
Our final day of wreck diving brought more amazing encounters, but as we wrap up this adventure, it’s the people who will stick with us the most.
This trip brought together Dive Connections friends and a new group joining us for their first adventure. Over three days of diving, boat rides, laughter, stories, and shared experiences, we watched new connections turn into friendships.
That’s what we love about dive travel: you come for the diving, but you leave remembering the people. ❤️
A huge thank you to Captain Jerry, mates Dylan and Zach, and the entire Olympus Dive Center crew for keeping us safe, putting us on the wrecks, and making this such a memorable adventure!
Ready for your next adventure? Join us on a future Dive Connections trip, make some memories, and maybe meet a few new dive buddies along the way!

Dolphins and Sand Tiger Sharks and submarines, oh my! 🐬🦈💙
Two days in the logbooks with one more day of diving to go—and the Dive Connections crew is having an epic adventure in Morehead City, NC!
We’ve explored the wrecks of the U-352 German U-boat, the USS Aeolus, and the Caribsea, discovering everything from colorful angelfish and weird toadfish to curious moray eels that always seem to be up to something.
But there was a moment that stole the show…
🐬 DOLPHINS! 🐬
During an extended safety stop, a pod of eight dolphins joined our divers and hung around for about 10 magical minutes! Dolphins occasionally make an appearance, but having them stay with a group of divers for that long is an incredibly special—and very unusual—encounter. Definitely not something you can put in the dive plan!
And then there are the Sand Tiger Sharks. 🦈
Two incredible dives on the Caribsea brought us face-to-face with large numbers of these magnificent sharks—including the tiniest member of the shiver! Watching Sand Tigers cruise effortlessly around the wreck while divers drift among them is the kind of experience that reminds us why we love diving the North Carolina coast.
Two days. Three amazing wrecks. Eight dolphins. LOTS of sharks. And one more day of adventure still ahead!
Want to experience your own underwater adventure with Dive Connections? Join us on an upcoming trip and see where the next dive takes you!
