We are so proud of our Mt Laurel Studio Company dancers who attend the Alabama School of Fine Arts! This weekend they are taking the stage for the ASFA Fall Repertory, and we cannot wait to see their hard work shine alongside all of the talented students.

Come support these dancers and enjoy an incredible showcase of classical ballet and modern dance talent at DJD Theater:

Saturday, October 31 at 2:30pm
Sunday, November 1 at 2:30pm

We will be cheering from the audience. Let us fill that theater with love for our Studio Company dancers!

Saturday, some of our Studio Company dancers had the chance to perform a preview of their ensemble piece at the Mt Laurel Fall Festival! 🍂

We loved getting to share a little bit of what they’ve been working on and be part of such a fun day in our community.

Choreography by Sarah “Soto” Berry!

We’re always grateful for opportunities that let our dancers perform, connect, and represent Mt Laurel Ballet right here at home.

Studio Company, day one (or two!) with this specific choreography. 💫

Right now it's a lot of "wait, which arm?" and "okay, from the top." Counts get called out loud, patterns get marked at half speed, and everyone's eyes are on each other trying to lock in the same shapes at the same time.

It looks nothing like the finished piece yet, and it's not supposed to. This is where the actual work happens.

Excited to see how this one grows over the next few weeks. 🩰

So proud of our own Ryan Steele O’Connor! ✨

Ryan is performing at Jacob’s Pillow as part of Youth America Grand Prix: Fresh Voices in Dance, a program highlighting the next generation of choreographic talent in ballet.

Ryan is representing Alberta Ballet School in Tipping Point, choreographed by Davidson Farias. His training journey also includes years of tutelage under Wes Chapman and Shawn Black at the Alabama School of Fine Arts, and we’re so proud to see that foundation continue carrying him into opportunities like this.

Fresh Voices in Dance runs October 16–18 at Jacob’s Pillow, and a livestream is available for anyone who wants to watch from home.

Congratulations, Ryan! We’ll be cheering you on from Alabama. 🤍

Studio Company classes: hours of focused, detail-driven work on each dancer's variation. 🩰✨

These dancers are putting in the work, refining every arm placement, every turnout, every musical nuance, with our faculty right there beside them. This is what close, hands-on coaching looks like: not just correcting steps, but helping each dancer find the artistry inside the technique. 🤍

We're so proud of the growth happening in this room every single day. Can't wait to see these variations come to life on stage at competitions this season! 💕

Building strong foundations from the very first stretch 🩰✨ Ms. Jamie's Ballet 1 dancers kick off class with some focused strength exercises, getting their bodies ready and warmed up for everything ahead. We love watching these little ones settle in, work hard, and support each other right from the start 💕

Those tiny tap shoes stealing the show today 👟✨
Primary Tap is pure joy, shuffles, poses, and all the focus these little dancers can muster 💛

We love this age so much!
