Clive Parks & Recreation maintains 18 parks, the Greenbelt Trail, and Clive Aquatic Center. Staff are available from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Clive Parks & Recreation Division is part of the City of Clive's Leisure Services Department. Offices are located at Clive City Hall, 1900 NW 114th St in Clive, Iowa. to assist with recreation and league registration, park questions, and room or shelter rental assistance. The Clive Aquatic Center is an outdoor seasonal facility, just across the street from City Hall, 1801 NW 114th St in Clive, Iowa. It includes 3 pools: a zero-depth entry "kiddie" pool rising to 3 feet 10 inches of water depth; a 25-meter lap-pool with water slides, diving board, and basketball hoop; and a 315-foot lazy river (tubes provided). The Greenbelt Trail includes over 10 miles of trail from 73rd to 156th streets and is "Distinct by Nature," recognized as a jewel of the city and landmark feature of our community. Clive manages various parks, from regional to neighborhood parks. Our largest park is Campbell Recreation Area, 12385 Woodlands Parkway, including three adult softball fields, sand volleyball, outdoor basketball court, tennis courts, playground equipment and open-air shelter. Other rentable shelters include Country Club Glen, Porter Greenbelt, and Linnan open-air park shelters. Neighborhood parks open to the public include George Lundberg, Huntington Ridge, Karp, Lions, Rio Valley, Stonegate, Swanson Memorial, Walnut Ridge, Wellington Ridge, Westview Bend, and Wildwood parks. 10/26 UPDATE - The trail section has reopened! Thank you

🚧🚨Trail Re-surfacing Closure
A section of the Greenbelt Trail east of 114th Street and west of 100th Street will be milled and resurfaced beginning Friday, October 23. The work is expected to be completed by end of day Monday, October 26. During this time expect heavy equipment presence within that specific trail area as well as on Lincoln Avenue and 103rd Street intersection. Thank you!

Our goats are always ready to graze! Every week, they load onto a trailer to start their work week eating invasive plants along the Greenbelt Trail. It's a tough job, but someone has “goat” to do it. 🐐
