For Richard, it was about getting stronger, staying active with his kids, and making his long-term health a priority.

After a short period of time with his personal trainer, Wendy, he’s already noticed a difference in his strength. He also appreciates that his training is built around his goals and injury history rather than a one-size-fits-all program.

That personalized approach is a big part of what we do at THE ARMORY.

Visit our website to learn how to get started with personal training and explore everything else we offer, from medical and fitness to recovery and sports performance.

For the past several years, longtime ARMORY member Michael Massey has organized a fundraiser called Pull Up for Pink. This year, he asked if THE ARMORY wanted to get involved. It was an easy yes.

Michael started this fundraiser because cancer has personally affected people close to him, including his 6th-grade teacher and his aunt, a breast cancer survivor. His mother also recently passed away from pancreatic cancer.

So now through the end of October, we’re bringing Pull Up for Pink to THE ARMORY to raise money and awareness during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The challenge is simple: see how many reps you can get and compete for the top spot in your category.

4 categories:
• Men’s Pull-Ups
• Men’s Push-Ups
• Women’s Pull-Ups
• Women’s Push-Ups

The top 3 in each category will win ARMORY gift cards, and there’s also a chance to win a FREE 6-month membership to THE ARMORY.

You can compete, donate, or do both. Every bit helps.

Sign up, check out the rules, and follow the leaderboard by scanning the QR codes or clicking the links in our Instagram bio.

100% of donations benefiting Thriving Beyond Breast Cancer

Ohio State Women’s Basketball Head Coach Kevin McGuff shares why he trusts The Armory and Dr. Shawn Bailey to help him stay proactive about his health. Through advanced assessments like DEXA body composition scans and VO₂ max testing, Coach McGuff has gained valuable insights that help him make informed decisions about his overall wellness.

At The Armory, we believe better data leads to better direction—so you can perform at your best, whether you’re coaching from the sidelines, competing on the field, or simply investing in your long-term health.
