We need to retrain our body to learn how to relax into discomfort. I use ice plunges as a way to train at this by relaxing into the cold. Many people focus more on the amount of time that they’re in the cold water and even if they trying to stay in longer and longer, their body doesn’t learn how to relax to the discomfort.Relaxation is the one skill that every human being needs to learn how to master.
