Looking for an easy way to escape the marathon madness? Make your way West and find out all Spirit Lake Marina & RV has to offer. The Shipyard Smoke House opens at 11am Friday- Sunday, and we have Kayak, Canoe, and Pontoon rentals available. The Waabizheshikana trail brings you right to the marina entrance, and is a perfect trail for a post meal walk. Give us a call, or check our website for rental availability.

Do you know about Tallas Island? After decades of development along the creek, along with the flood of 2012 Tallas island became a peninsula. This created less water flow through the area, and in turn, an environment less conducive for fish and other wildlife to survive. In the restoration of the estuary the original opening was drugged, turning Tallas back into an island, and opening up the water flow for nature to thrive once again.

This beautiful island is one of the easiest paddles from Spirit Lake Marina. Located just up river from the marina, the bay its self stays relatively calm, and its prime location to spot birds, beaver, fish, and even deer out on the island.
