A little piece of my story is now live in VoyageVirginia.
This interview goes beyond Pilates My Way. I share the road from serving as a U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel and federal civil rights leader to disability retirement, finding Pilates during one of the hardest transitions of my life, and ultimately building something of my own.
I also talk about the doors that closed, starting over when my original franchise plans ended, building Pilates My Way independently, and why the Move Forward Pilates Foundation and serving disabled veterans are so personal to me.
One line from the interview probably says it best:
“Sometimes starting over isn’t actually starting over. Sometimes you are starting again with everything the first journey taught you.”
Thank you, VoyageVirginia, for giving me the space to tell my story in my own words—and for shining a light on Pilates My Way.
The journey is still being written.
Your Strength. Your Movement. Your Way.
