Great Lakes Gun Rights PAC is proud to once again endorse Steve Carra for State Representative in House District 36.
Steve is a proven fighter in Lansing, leading the fight to advance Constitutional Carry back in 2022 and fully supports repealing "Red Flag" and repealing Michigan's draconian Permit to Purchase scheme. So, of course, he once against returned his GLGR survey 100% pro-gun.

Great Lakes Gun Rights PAC is proud to endorse Beau LaFave for Senate in Senate District 38.
Beau returned his GLGR survey 100% pro-gun and is a proven leader on the Second Amendment. He not only sponsored numerous pro-gun bills during his time as a State Rep, but he also held hearings on Constitutional Carry against the desires of RINOs in the Republican caucus.
His opponent State Rep. Dave Prestin returned his survey 100% pro-gun, but did not co-sponsor Constitutional Carry when it was introduced earlier this year in the House, nor did he sponsor the "Red Flag" repeal bills. An interesting decision for a politician running in the deeply pro-gun U.P. This is why Beau is deserving of GLGR PAC's sole endorsement in this race.

Great Lakes Gun Rights PAC is proud to endorse Casey Armitage for House District 13.
Casey not only returned her GLGR candidate survey 100% pro-gun, but she is a proven fighter for the Second Amendment. Casey is the President of Michigan Open Carry and is constantly on the front lines fighting alongside GLGR for our gun rights in Lansing.
Mark Foster has also returned his survey 100% pro-gun in HD 13, but Casey is the proven fighter deserving of GLGR PAC's endorsement.

Great Lakes Gun Rights PAC is proud to endorse Joseph Fox for State Senator in Senate District 33. As a State Representative, Fox has a 100% pro-gun voting record and led the charge to introduce Constitutional Carry earlier this year!
While one of his opponents, State Rep. Gina Johnsen also returned her survey 100% pro-gun, she voted for a bloated budget bill (HB 4437) back in 2023 that included funding to enforce a gun ban at the State Capitol. She was one of only five Republicans to vote for it.
Both Katie DeBoer and Tom Norton also returned their GLGR Surveys 100% pro-gun, but the endorsement went to State Rep. Fox because of his proven track record of being a leader in the fight for our gun rights.

Those asking for evidence of the Michigan Sheriffs' Association support of "Red Flag," see the post below. HB 4145 and SB 83 were the "Red Flag" bills in 2023 that became law.

Our Executive Director Brenden Boudreau received a solicitation from the Michigan Sheriffs' Association last week, who will be receiving a response from him, though one they were not hoping for.
The MSA worked with Democrats and lobbied in support of Whitmer's "Red Flag" gun confiscation law, but then lied about it after the fact.
They are an anti-gun organization and do not deserve the support of gun owners until their behavior improves.
There are good Sheriffs in Michigan, but the the big county Sheriffs control the organization and, whether they are Democrat or Republican, they support stripping Michiganders of their rights without due process and are betraying their oaths to the U.S. and Michigan Constitutions.

Gun owners and rights groups filed a federal lawsuit against Michigan’s attorney general and state police leader over the state’s license-to-purchase and pistol registration requirements.
Michigan’s ‘permission slip’ to buy pistols violates 2nd Amendment, lawsuit says
Michigan's process for buying pistols unfairly denies qualified applicants, federal lawsuit says.
