When she isn’t busy, you’ll find her traveling, baking something delicious, or enjoying the vintage glamour of the pin-up community, where she loves to dabble herself. Ann brings a wonderful combination of strength, style, humor, and genuine appreciation for women who aren’t afraid to shine!

Jenna’s first job at age 14 was slinging chili dogs and root beer floats at Cook’s Drive-In in Kentwood, Michigan. Slowly, she began realizing that cooking was more than just a way to pay for her stirrup pants, music cassettes and perms. She soon moved to East Lansing where she received her BFA at MSU while working in restaurants near campus. Wanting to live in a big city after graduation, she moved to San Francisco where she fell in love with the city and a handsome Italian who was visiting from Milan. After living in Italy for 3 years and spending time in the kitchen with her new mother in law, her passion for Italian Casalinga cuisine grew stronger. Jenna worked for small businesses, corporations and also tried few of her own small entrepreneurial ideas. She finally realized it was time to take the leap and open Amore Trattoria Italiana in 2010. Her dream was to bring back the mom & pop feel by using locally sourced products and meeting her guests in the dining room much like dinner at home. Maurizio & Jenna are proud to continue winning food service awards during their 10 years of business. She was recently surprised with $10,000 from Mike Rowe on his show called Returning the Favor so that Jenna could continue to feed frontline workers during the COVID pandemic. She continues to learn by hosting culinary trips all over Italy twice a year with Onward Travel. If you see a sparkly pink suv on the streets with a “FOOD HUGS“ license plate, that’s her. 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

Mindi Ketchel is a vintage lover, specializing in 90’s alternative vibes. Mindi is a true lover of vintage fashion and apprenticed with some of the finest secondhand shops in the city. Shout out to Peri Olsen of Flashback on Leonard and Tim Garrod of Captain Bizzaro’s, formerly One Man’s Junk. Her years of experience fast tracked her way into running her own inclusive thrift shop, Helping Hands Mission Thrift right here in Grand Rapids on beautiful West Leonard! Although she has never competed in Pin-Up, her experience in the secondhand fashion industry has awarded her several incredible invitations to preform the duties of judge in four previous Pin-Up competitions. Every competition is unique, and she is excited to be a part of our local pin-up culture.

Some of the Miss Metro Cruise 2026 Pin-Ups at the Gilmore Car Museum for the Mopar’s at the Red Barn Event this past Saturday!

We also awarded Faye Dorr from Paw Paw the Pin up Car pick award! She is 86 still does all of her own maintenance (tune up, detailing, oil changes, tire rotations & upkeep) she did her upholstery herself on her beautiful Imperial stay tuned for pro shots of her car!

SATURDAY! A great day for a trip to Gilmore Car Museum. The show is 9am-3pm, temps will be perfect at 67-77 degrees during that time.
