Train Efficiently to be Effective...

06/01/2026

This weekend wasn’t just a moment—it was a testament to what happens when elite talent meets relentless work. Two Will Bradley Sports Performance athletes ignited a game-changing moment in the D-II Baseball Championship.

**The Play That Turned Heads**
- Catawba’s **Jake Dunlap ()** laced an RBI triple, driving **Hunter Atkins (._)** home from first with precision and poise.
- The setup mattered: two gym alumni, one sparkling moment, in a national spotlight.

**From 4.5s to Game-Changing Moments**
- **Speed that paid off:** Hunter (4.52) and Jake (4.57) both clocked 4.5-second 40 yard dashes in high school with us. That speed isn’t accidental—it’s cultivated, tested, and trusted when it counts most.
- **Timing, not luck:** The triple wasn’t just good luck; it was trained anticipation, explosive acceleration, and seamless ex*****on under pressure.

**Why This Matters for Our Crew**
- When our athletes trust the process, the results echo on stages bigger than practice.
- Two athletes, one shared grind, one unforgettable moment—proof our program builds not just speed, but chemistry and clutch character.

**Taraji Jordan Conquers the 100m at States**

- Congratulations to Ragsdale freshman Taraji Jordan () for winning the 100m dash at the NCHSAA 6A Track & Field State Championship with a time of 11.96 time last week!
- Taraji’s debut on the high school state championship stage was nothing short of electric, and her victory headline-worthy for our program.

- **Mental toughness that shines**: We’re most proud of how Taraji embraced the adjustments after Regionals, where she PB’d at 11.66 and finished 2nd.
- The message was simple: “You got the time. Now it’s time to get the medal.”
- In our weekly session, we focused on placing her in positions to feel what she needed to do—while preserving the integrity of her head coach’s plan. We don’t want to replace her coach, rather we want to be an additional resource.

- **Looking ahead**: The bar has been raised—Taraji is hungry for more medals, more speed, and more moments that prove what’s possible with focus and faith in the process.
