50 years ago today, 18-year-old Pipino Cuevas stunned the boxing world by capturing the WBA Welterweight World Championship with a devastating second-round TKO over reigning champion Ángel Espada in Mexicali, Mexico. Cuevas scored three knockdowns in the second round, becoming the youngest welterweight world champion in history.
