Step 3: Follow the directions to scroll down past the normal streaming player to the schedule and find the specific Zoom Class you want to take.

Step 4: Click the link called "Zoom Class" to get to the scheduled Zoom Class. This will launch the Zoom app and take you into the class. You can control your camera and microphone as needed throughout the class.

Welcome to Yasha Siemienski!- She is teaching Pilates Mat Fundamentals this Friday, April 24th 12:30-1:30pm on our live stream.🙌🏼

We are excited to have Yasha join Blue Lotus for our first Pilates Mat class! Here is a little introduction to Yasha Siemienski:

Yasha is passionate about Pilates and has been teaching since 2009. She also loves yoga and the benefits of blending Pilates with Yoga. Strengthening and learning how to deeply connect to your core and other joint stabilizing muscles can be extremely beneficial to your yoga practice. Yasha will teach you the fundamentals of Pilates and guide you through integrated strengthening movements that work your muscles concentrically and eccentrically in all planes of motion. Her classes are designed to work your whole body in a way that is both challenging and therapeutic with a relaxing flow and time for some deeper stretching.

Yasha received her teaching certification in the STOTT Method of Pilates. She loves creative movement and teaches in a contemporary style of Pilates. She works with all ages and fitness levels. She has expanded her teaching knowledge and skills with credentialed courses including Pilates for Injured and Special Populations, Fascial Line Assessment and Cueing, Pilates for Scoliosis, Pilates for Osteoporosis Management, Pilates for Athletes, Pilates for Golf, Pilates Barre, Prenatal Pilates, and PostPartum Fitness.

We hope you are enjoying our online classes. Each week we are receiving your valuable feedback and requests and are modifying our schedule to take this into account. We are attempting to find the most ideal schedule with our current "stay at home" lifestyles. Please continue to give us your feedback!

Our biggest two requests this past week were for early morning classes (so our Hawaii early risers and west coast students have options) and for interactive classes. We heard you and this week we have early morning (6:30am) re-streamed classes and will be introducing live Zoom classes.

We are excited to offer two Zoom classes (to start with), Friday and Saturday this week, taught by our wonderful Heidi Hopkins. We have more livestream classes for you this week. We have had a lot of positive feedback on the replay classes in the evenings and so we are continuing with a mixture of live and replayed classes throughout the day.

Exciting Update: We have had a number of requests for more interaction with the teachers and other students and we are working on this for next week. The week of April 20th we will most likely run select classes on Zoom, while keeping the live stream system we have been using for the other classes. Zoom tends to be a little more complex for attendees and so we hope by having both, you can all have the best of both worlds!

A few days ago we added a registration section that you'll need to fill out prior to class. Once registered, it will direct you to the livestream. If you register in advance of class, do not close the livestream window or you'll need to register again.
