Featured Senior Friday - Meet Greta G.!

The studio is honored to host a Celebration of Life for Ms. Susie. We’d love to have you join us Sunday, May 31 at 5:30pm. We hope to see you!

It’s with immense sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Ms. Susie.

Ms. Susie enjoyed a successful dance career before following in her mom’s footsteps and taking over as the matriarch of the Lucille Rapp Dance Studio.

Ms. Susie led the studio with a keen eye for detail and precision, and helped shape countless dancers into the best versions of themselves they could be. Even following her retirement, she could reliably be found at the studio each season helping pull dances together. As everyone knows - earning an approving nod from Ms. Susie is just about the highest praise a dancer could ever want.

It seems fitting that our recital theme this year is “Legends, Icons, and Trailblazers” - this year’s performances will be dedicated to Ms. Susie who was the very best of all three.

Featured Senior Friday - Meet Mia S.!

So many exciting things to share from Day 3! Shout out to the Flip Flops (Judge’s Choice, 3rd overall), Sapphires (5th overall, highest scoring group at our studio), Sparks (4th overall), and Rappettes (1st overall, highest First Call score of the day)! Duet partners Eliza K. And Lola S., along with soloist Mallory W. also received Judge’s Choice awards, with Mallory named 2nd runner up for Title! Other dancers placing in the overalls include Maddie Grace F., Mallory W., Sam F./Jorie S., Elle M./Lily B., Lola S./Eliza K., Mia S./Lola S., Mia S./ Eliza K., and Johnna O./Norah S. Our studio also won the Studio Spirit Award - presented to the studio that best represents strong sportsmanship and camaraderie! We are so proud of all of our dancers!

Day 2! Our dancers had another great day - we are so proud of them all! Special congratulations to the Tomorrow’s Stars (1st overall, “Baby Rockettes” Judge’s Choice award), Razzle Dazzles (3rd overall), Annie V./Gwen F. (“Cartwheeling Cuties” Judge’s Choice Award), Julia F. (5th overall), Norah S. (8th overall), and MontgomeryB./Eliza K. (5th overall)! Grateful to all of our older dancers who spent the day supporting our littles. Looking forward to Day 3!

We kicked off competition weekend with amazing performances from our dancers! Extra congratulations to Charlotte C. (16th overall), Mia S. (12th overall), Audrie V. (8th overall), and Eliza K. (2nd overall, Senior Title winner)! Shout out to Ms. Vicky for taking home a Choreography Award! We love watching our dancers support each other, and can’t wait for the rest of the weekend!

Wishing luck to Sammie C., Charlotte C., Lydia B., Eliza K., and Mallory W. as they take the competition stage this weekend. We’re so proud of you!
