The AJSKF USA at the Shin Ryu Kan conducted a promotional for eligible students. We had one test for Roku Kyu, one for Roku Kyu Ho & five for Hachi Kyu.

In September 1942 she was deported to . She did not survive.

Today we remember CPL Jerry Joe Allen of Los Angeles, California, who fell on this day in 1970. Jerry is remembered by his sister, Joan:
"He was the best son and the greatest brother anyone could have. I miss him so much. I’ll never forget!"

On this day lost, but never forgotten...Willie J. Rhodes was born on September 20, 1947. His home of record is Newark, NJ.
He served in the US Marine Corps and attained the rank of Lance Corporal (LCPL).
Rhodes was killed in action on June 19, 1967. He is buried in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Troup County Georgia

On this day lost, but never forgotten...Kazimierz H. Slomiany was born on February 25, 1945, to Mr. and Mrs. Feliks Slomiany. His home of record is Wallington, NJ. The family emigrated from Poland.
Slomiany was drafted into the US Army in 1965. He had only been in the United States for five years. He served as the family translator, and on these grounds he requested to be excused from the draft but his request was denied. He became a member of a helicopter combat unit and attained the rank of Specialist 4 (SP4).
Slomiany was killed in action on June 19, 1967, during a firefight. He had planned to apply for American citizenship when he returned home.

On this day lost, but never forgotten...William George White was born on June 16, 1943, to William and Mary White. His home of record is Union City, NJ. William attended Union Hill High School and his brothers, George and Thomas, attended St. Joseph's Boys High School.
William served in the US Navy and attained the rank of Construction Electrician (CE1). He was a Navy Seabee. During 1963, he attended US Naval School in Great Lakes, IL. In March 1968, he attended the US Naval Construction School in Davisville, RI. He married Gloria J. Atwater.
White was killed in action on June 16, 1969. He is buried at Madonna Cemetery in Fort Lee, NJ.
