PTR certified pro at Darling Tennis Center for both kids & adults of all levels. My adult teams have won several league/District championships.

Head Coach @ Faith Lutheran Middle School & High School! '24 & '25 Southern Nevada 5A Tennis Coach Of the Year. I have been coaching at the High School, Middle School or Collegiate Level since 1994 and have worked with players of all ages and ability levels. My lessons are FUN, Functional, a great workout, and help players improve right away while also of course working on long term goals. I am proud to be a member of the excellent staff at Darling Tennis Center, and DTC is where I do all of my teaching. I am also a coach at Faith Lutheran Middle School/High School, where we have 9 State Tourney berths as a team over the last 8 years. I teach players from all over the Valley, not just Faith players. Hello everyone, wanted to update you as to what is happening.

Simply, I have been dealing with some health issues over the past eight days or so, and as such have not been on the court teaching.

I’m making progress, and am planning on starting again this week. Thank you for your patience.

Unfortunately, DTC is all booked up in preparation for the upcoming Pickleball event, so everything will have to be in the evening, at Faith.

Then, there is my biggest tournament of the year coming this weekend…so still not a lot of time. I appreciate your understanding. With all of that said:

Hello all and I hope everyone is watching the US Open and enjoying it. I know I will be glued to the scree when Coco and Jovic play tomorrow!

Here is the remaining schedule for the week, which is QUITE limited since I am headed to Fresno for the California Classic, the largest (78 teams) HS Girls Tennis Tournament in the country. Going to be fun, and we just might come home with some hardware!

VERY limited schedule this week due to school stuff on Monday and a trip to Colorado Thur, Fri, Sat. Sorry about this...and of course getting this post up so late.

Sunday was pretty much a washout day for me as my HS team had super long, and hot, days on Friday and Saturday. I thought I was going to be available tonite, but a school event that had slipped my mind came up, so here we are. With all of that said...here is what is left this week. Hello all, here is this week's availability chart, with a "little" help from AI to create the image.

School starts for many this week, and this is also the first full week of school for me. As a look at things long term, I think these morning times will stay pretty set during the school year, with the exception of some Thursday and Fridays when my HS team is travelling out of state for tournaments.

The evenings will open up more, but are 100% dependent on our match schedule. We have our first matches of this season Friday (4pm vs Spanish Springs) and Saturday (9am vs Arbor View, 3:30pm vs Doral), all at home, in case you happened to want to come and watch.

With this being the case and times being limited, I will be adding in Saturday time slots when we do not have matches.

Hello everyone...and glad to be back!

I did play a little tennis while I was gone, and picked up a little hardware along the way at the tournament from my hometown. This was the place I played my first ever tennis match, so it was really fun to go back and play well.

More importantly, shout out to Michelle, one of the folks reading this whose 7.0 Mixed team just won Sectionals and now is HEADED TO NATIONALS!!! Great job Michele, just awesome. Proud of you and your team!

Kudos to Kristen for doing the work and getting all the way back to PLAY at Sectionals. Great effort.

As for this week...evenings will be split between DTC and Faith, as Summer League starts & DTC courts are at a premium some evenings. Nice to have the flexibility, to be sure.

Finally, there is a tournament this weekend, so no availability on Fri-Sat-Sun at this time...but that could change, and if so I will send out a text. With all of that said...here we go!
