Quit pretending that it’s best to put down the bat and play other sports if you’re a kid who wants to play college baseball. That’s a “used to be” thing ….
Sure you can play other sports while you hit .. but it better be the priority .. period!

If you want to be an elite hitter you need to be in the cages year round on a near daily basis. This should go without saying but obviously take the proper rest if you need it, don’t work through injury. “We’re letting Johnny make the decision on which team he wants to be on” might be the most ignorant thing I’ve heard a parent say when the kid is younger than 16/17 years old. Little Johnny has no idea what’s best for him and he doesn’t care about you wasting your money 😂
