Almost 70 people. One community. One hell of a way to spend Labor Day.

Young, old, and everybody in between showed up, put in some work, hung out, grabbed a juice, and made the most of a morning together.

We gave away a pair of RADs, got a little fitter, and were reminded once again that Common Ground is about a whole lot more than just the workout.

Days like this are exactly why we do what we do. We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who walked through the doors, brought a friend, brought family, and helped make the day what it was.

A place to train together—and a community we’re proud to be part of.

The calm before the storm.

Tomorrow, we’re opening the doors at Common Ground for our free Labor Day Community Event in partnership with Nourish Wellness Bar.

Bring a friend. Bring your family. Come train with us.

Doors open at 8:00 AM and the workout starts at 8:30 AM. Stay after, grab a juice, hang out, and spend the morning with the community.

And one workout participant will be leaving with a brand-new pair of RAD shoes in their choice of size and color.

All you have to do is show up, train with us, and you’re in. The workout is open to all fitness levels and built so everyone can take part.

Send this to someone you want beside you tomorrow—and maybe someone who could use a new pair of training shoes.

Any guesses on what movements are coming?

Jumping is a skill worth keeping.

Box jumps aren’t just for athletes or high-intensity workouts. They’re one of the ways we train power, coordination, confidence, and the ability to move explosively—qualities that matter at every age.

Jumping challenges the body in ways traditional strength work doesn’t. It can support bone health, coordination, balance, reaction time, and power, while teaching the body to both produce and absorb force. The goal isn’t to jump higher—it’s to preserve the ability to move quickly, confidently, and capably for life.

Today’s conditioning paired burpee box jump overs with heavy sandbag cleans to create a strength-biased piece built around repeated intensity.

Both movements are demanding in different ways—the box jump over challenges explosiveness, coordination and body control, while the sandbag clean requires bracing, grip and full-body strength. By building rest into the piece, athletes could attack each round with intent, recover, and repeat that effort without sacrificing movement quality.

The goal wasn’t just to get tired. It was to train the ability to move powerfully, safely and consistently under fatigue.

There’s a difference between appreciating how far you’ve come and becoming comfortable staying there.

Training should give you moments to recognize your progress, but it should also continue to challenge you.

At Common Ground, we want you to be proud of where you are while still working toward what you’re capable of next.

Be present enough to appreciate the progress. Stay hungry enough to keep building.

Training has no age limit.

But great training should look different at every stage of life.

A young athlete building strength, coordination, and confidence has different needs than someone in their 60s training to improve balance, endurance, independence, and longevity. That’s why our age-specific classes are designed to meet people where they are and give them the right kind of challenge for that stage of life.

Our Young Athletes program helps build a strong foundation of movement, strength, athleticism, and confidence that can carry into sports and everyday life.

Our Legends 60+ program focuses on staying strong, active, mobile, and capable for the things that matter most outside the gym.

The approach may look different, but the goal is the same:

Move well. Get stronger. Stay capable.

There’s no wrong age to start.

Moments from training.

The work isn’t always loud.

It’s the reps between the highlights. The early mornings, the hard sets, the people beside you, and the decision to keep showing up.

Different people. Different goals. Different starting points. All sharing the same space and putting in the work together.

These are the moments that add up — stronger bodies, more confidence, better health, and a community built through training.

It’s bigger than sports. It’s about building capable young people.

Our Young Athletes program gives kids a place to learn how to train the right way — safely, confidently, and with experienced coaching around them.

And it’s not just for kids who play sports.

It’s for any young person who can benefit from getting stronger, moving better, improving coordination and conditioning, and building a healthy relationship with fitness.

We want them to learn that training isn’t something to be intimidated by. It’s a tool that can help them feel more capable, confident, and proud of what their body can do.

Whether they’re preparing for a season or simply building a foundation for a healthy life, this is a place to start.

Give them the opportunity to build strength, confidence, and habits that last.

Young Athletes meets every Tuesday & Thursday from 4:00–5:00 PM.

Start with a 7 Days for $7 Trial and let them experience Young Athletes at Common Ground.

Life will get busy.

Work piles up. Schedules change. Motivation comes and goes. There will always be a reason to put training off until tomorrow.

That’s why consistency matters more than motivation.

You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to keep showing up, especially during the seasons when it feels hardest.

And it’s a lot easier to stay disciplined when you’re surrounded by people doing the same.

A community that expects you to be there. Coaches who keep you moving forward. People beside you putting in the work, even on the days they didn’t feel like it either.

You don’t have to do it alone.
Come find your Common Ground.
A place to train together.
