Hart Dance Academy is heading into our 4️⃣0️⃣ season! We have been inspiring the LOVE of dance in Lincoln since 1986. Our primary focus is a strong technical foundation in a positive culture where dancers can flourish, grow and make meaningful relationships - all while exploring their artistic passions. HDA has a place for everyone! With four beautiful studios running 100+ classes per week, our schedule has options for you.

Currently under the direction of Tracey's daughter, Aly Hart Summerson, the studio continues to grow and offer a place for dancers of all ages and levels to find a home. "There is so much JOY in our studio! The teachers, the students, the entire staff - we are all so passionate about dance and what it brings to our lives!" HDA was founded in 1986 and today we continue to teach the LOVE of dance to all our students ages 2.5 through adults. Registration for our 2026/27 classes is available in our portal here: https://app.gostudiopro.com/online/hartdanceacademy.

We are so excited to partner with for this new class, designed specifically for dancers! We encourage our more serious students to consider adding this class in July and August, when our dance schedule is a little slower, to start building the strength and injury prevention for our upcoming season! The class will take place at Kratos, located at 1220 Aries Drive, near Lincoln Southwest High School.

Advanced level should be students in our Company or Repertory classes (or with permission, ages 14+).
Beginning level should be students ages 10+ in any technique classes.

I finished up Recital Season with a full heart, tired quads and a few sequins in my camera bag. Its always a whirlwind few weeks and I’m so thankful for the immense support we received this year. My family & friends, and many studio teachers, who helped with our set-ups and strikes… I’m so grateful for your help! To our assistants in house, and in your studios, many hands make for light (er) work… and gosh, that is just incredible.

Today we wish a fond farewell (but never goodbye) to these teachers: Miss Sara, Miss Sydney and Miss Alli. After many, many years of inspiring the dancers at HDA, they are taking their bows today. We can't thank you enough for your contribution to the studio! You will be greatly missed, but are always part of the HDA family. 🩷
