As another season comes to a close, we want to recognize and celebrate our 7 graduating seniors for everything they have meant to our program.

Thank you for your dedication, sacrifice, leadership, and countless hours of hard work. You helped build the culture of this program and represented our team, university, and community with pride both on and off the range.

Your impact will be felt long after your final competition, and we are incredibly thankful for everything you have given to this program.

We are proud of each of you and excited to see what the future holds. Congratulations, graduates — once part of this team, always part of this family.

FHSU Giving Day is Tomorrow – Support the Shotgun Team!

The Fort Hays State University Shotgun Team continues to see incredible growth—and with it, increased demands to support our student-athletes. This season, 45 dedicated Tigers represented FHSU across the country, competing in 15 events over an eight-month stretch. Their hard work and commitment paid off with a 12th Prairie Conference Championship and a National Runner-Up finish in Division II at Nationals.

Our team’s success extends beyond competition. We’re proud to recognize 7 All-Americans and 5 Academic All-Americans who exemplify excellence both on the range and in the classroom.

Over the course of the season, our athletes traveled more than 10,000 miles, fired over 120,000 competition shells, and put in the work with an additional 125,000 practice shells—demonstrating the dedication it takes to compete at the highest level.

As we gear up for the 2026-2027 season – with an anticipated roster of 45 athletes – your support is more important than ever. Funds raised will go directly toward ammunition, travel, reloading supplies, and essential equipment that help keep us competitive on the national stage.

We’re deeply grateful for your continued support and can’t wait to make you proud next season!

For the 4th year in a row, members of the FHSU Shotgun Team had the opportunity to give back by hosting a trap and s***t clinic for the Quinter shooting team.

Despite battling the cold and wind today, our athletes showed up ready to teach, lead, and make a difference. ❄️

We take pride in sharing our knowledge, supporting the next generation of shooters, and growing the sport we love. Always a great day on the range—already looking forward to next year! 🐅💪
