🏃‍♂️ MOVEMENT MATTERS

Today at J.A. Fair, we taught one of the most important athletic movements in football—the crossover step.

Using SKLZ hurdles, our athletes learned how to drive the knee up and punch it across the body while keeping their shoulders square and allowing the hips to rotate. This teaches athletes how to efficiently transition into a crossover run without wasting movement.

Why is this important for football players?

✅ Defensive backs use it to transition from a backpedal into a sprint.
✅ Linebackers use it to scrape over the top and pursue the football.
✅ Running backs use it to change direction and hit cutback lanes.
✅ Wide receivers use it to create separation and accelerate into routes.
✅ Every position benefits from improved acceleration, body control, and change of direction.

The fastest athletes aren’t always the ones with the best 40-yard dash times—they’re the ones who can move efficiently in every direction.

At J.A. Fair, we’re building athletes who move better, react faster, and play faster.

No matter your skill level, our mission remains the same: turn weaknesses into strengths.

Whether you’re a beginner learning the fundamentals or an advanced athlete chasing the next level, every athlete has something they can improve. At Beast Academy, we identify those areas, attack them with purpose, and build complete athletes through strength, speed, movement, recovery, and confidence.

We don’t just train your strengths—we develop the areas that hold you back.

Every athlete. Every position. Every sport.

Trust the process. Embrace the work. Become a BEAST. 💪🐺

From the moment I met Isaiah, I knew he was special.

Some athletes have talent. Some athletes have work ethic. Isaiah has both.

He has the ability to make a defender miss in a phone booth, explosive speed that can change a game in an instant, and the hands to make plays out of the backfield. But what stands out most is his character, humility, and willingness to work.

It’s been an honor for Beast Academy to be a small part of his journey. Thank you to Isaiah and his family for trusting the process and allowing me to help in his development.

The future is bright, and I can’t wait to watch his story continue to unfold in Chapel Hill.

Congratulations to University of North Carolina commit Isaiah Stephens on his official visit this past weekend. The best is yet to come.
