Stop crunching your torso to hit harder. That's how shoulders and backs break down, not how power gets built.
Here's the fix: rotate. Power comes from your hips and shoulders turning through the ball, not your abs folding forward. Crunching might feel like effort, but it's compensation, and compensation under repeated load is exactly how overuse injuries start.
Coaches, if your hitter looks like they're "getting low" by bending at the waist, that's a rotation problem, not a strength problem. Fix the sequencing and the power shows up on its own, without the wear and tear.
