Reminder: Metro United Karate closes for all National/Federally observed holidays. Classes will resume Tuesday the 17th for regularly scheduled training.

Metro United Karate is closed today in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. day.

There’s nothing like taking an additional interest in what are children enjoy. Your efforts excited and motivated them far beyond what you could imagine. Plus it was fun watching you all train with us 😊
Over the next two weeks *Buddy week(s) where each student is encouraged to bring a buddy along to train with them 🥋-parent attendance required.
During this time, my parents are welcomed to join any karate class M-W.

Special EVENT ALERT: 01/17/26

Your Coaches are hosting a specialty/team-building workshop this Saturday. This course is intended for currently enrolled Metro members, Gold Belt & UP - looking to accomplish the following:
Better conditioning.
Improved techniques.
Skill building -social and Team building development.
Leadership - Initiative & listening skills.

This motivational, mentoring, and training session will energize the most passive students and challenge them to lean on each other for support as we foster the spirit of team building. This 3-hr session will include:

Rank testing (an opportunity to earn an additional stripe)
Core curriculum material
Intense conditioning
Games/activities
Sparring concepts
Forms coaching &
Lunch provided by Metro

Students should bring - (dressed in uniform), safety equipment, belt (for ranking), a water bottle & good work ethic.
